ABOUT THE WINE

Christopher Creek is an iconic Sonoma County vineyard and winery that has been owned and operated by local families for more than 40 years. Situated in the rolling hills of Healdsburg, Christopher Creek is committed to making the finest handcrafted wines. Winemaker Michael Brunson has specialized in making Pinot Noir for more than 30 years, and has made it his mission to create outstanding wine in the Russian River Valley.

This handcrafted auction lot is a true Winemaker’s Select blend. Brunson applied his deep knowledge of each block, row and barrel to select the best options from several Russian River Valley single vineyards to blend together for this unique, one-time offering. Brunson embraces a philosophy of allowing the wine to speak for itself. The result is a pure wine from a special place, with minimal winemaking interventions. In the glass you will find a timeless Pinot Noir with a delicate fruit nose, a balanced and ripe tannin structure and a light dusting of French oak on the finish.
