Comstock Wines was inspired by the fundamental passion to grow and source only the best Sonoma County grapes and transform them into wines that are as delicious as they are memorable. Bob and Sandy Comstock began growing grapes in Dry Creek Valley in 2002. Throughout the years, as they talked with family and friends, the idea of creating a small winery was born. To this day, Comstock Wines treats each varietal and vineyard with individualized care that reflects the unique grape and growing environment.
The estate ranch in Dry Creek Valley is home to exceptional Merlot. In this lot, Comstock Wines’ Winemaker Chris Russi has taken the time to select premium fruit from the estate Merlot vineyard, and allowed it to develop flavors solely through whole cluster fermentation.
A winemaker dinner or store visit is offered as part of this lot. Must be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date and booked within a year of receipt.
