Garden Creek Ranch wines are handcrafted by husband-and-wife team Justin and Karin Warnelius-Miller on their family’s land in Alexander Valley. It’s a partnership without compromise, and their unwavering dedication to quality has resulted in truly remarkable wines.
The Warnelius-Millers take inspiration from their 75 acres of ancient mountain soils. The wines are chosen and made each year with their inherent passion for the land and their family’s farming heritage at the forefront of their decision making process. This wine, created specifically for the Barrel Auction, is similar in finesse and richness to Garden Creek’s proprietary Bordeaux Blend, Tesserae. It’s a more defined version of that benchmark blend, sourced from the volcanic alluvial soils of the north and northwest blocks of Olive Hill.
A winemaker dinner or store visit is offered as part of this lot. Must be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date and booked within a year of receipt.
