ABOUT THE WINE

Tim Meinken and Anne Giere of Gordian Knot Winery create wines that reflect a deep sense of their individual provenance, and their portfolio shines with Sonoma County wines that critics and aficionados adore. Pinot Noir, Dijon & Pommard clones and the Russian River Valley are a triple threat if ever one existed, and this wine expresses this trinity’s full potential.

From two neighboring vineyards in the heart of the Russian River Valley, an elegant, richly layered, complex wine has emerged. The vines were planted in 1996 by winemaker Tim Meinken, and the wine is the culmination of some of the very first Dijon clones planted in the Russian River Valley, embellished with an intriguing spice and dark notes that only Pommard selections can bring.
