In 2006, several close-knit family members discovered 50 acres of hillside vineyards in Knights Valley, a perfect spot to produce exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and other Bordeaux varietals. The family created Knights Bridge Winery on the pristine west side of Knights Valley, the warmest appellation in Sonoma County. In 2011, Knights Bridge was certified by the California Sustainable Winemaking Alliance due to its emphasis on low-impact, sustainable practices.
Knights Bridge Winery is guided by a deep respect for nature, a passion for fine wines and a dedication to family and friends—and the leadership is committed to maintaining their small production of fewer than 3,000 cases per year. Handcrafted with exacting detail by Director of Winemaking Douglas Danielak, this Cabernet Franc is a first for Knights Bridge, and it marks the debut vintage of the winery’s Cabernet Franc vines, planted in 2008. It promises to be an elegant one-of-a-kind wine crafted by a master who was named “Winemaker to Watch” by Wine Spectator.
A winemaker dinner or store visit is offered as part of this lot. Must be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date and booked within a year of receipt.
