When it comes to Bordeaux varieties Napa gets all the attention, but at Lambert Bridge they are not afraid to take on the dark side.
This is a deviously deep red wine, done Sonoma style and reflective of the people who make it: They’re cool – think morning fog and coastal breezes, (which gives way to all those floral notes). They’re peaceful mellow people – who aggressively drop fruit in the vineyard and make pass after pass, up and down those rows, (which gives this wine its concentration). They’re laid back – except when it comes to their ridiculously careful winemaking, (which means this wine is built to last). They love to play – especially with their Bordeaux building blocks, and especially for this event, (which is why this wine is so fun). They are daring, willing to throw caution to the wind and bring Malbec and Petit Verdot together as a stand-alone blend, (which is why you won’t find this wine anywhere else). Above all, they are Lambert Bridge – a small family-owned winery which feels like a family, (which is why you can taste the love).
They let joy and a sense of adventure be their guide for this wine, and they wound up on the dark side – they dare you to join them!
A winemaker dinner or store visit is offered as part of this lot. Must be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date and booked within a year of receipt.
