DUTTON ESTATE WINERY GREEN VALLEY
Dutton Estate Winery is in the Russian River Valley located near the small town of Sebastopol. Once a dominant apple-growing region, Sebastopol is now a destination hide-away and home to the winery's founders, Joe and Tracy Dutton. Joe and Tracy's agricultural heritage is deeply rooted in Sonoma County. Tracy's great-grandparents began farming apples in Sebastopol in the 1920's and today continue to grow apples and grapes at the family's recognized farm and food production facility in Forestville at Kozlowski Farms. Joe is co-owner of Dutton Ranch, which was founded in 1964 by his parents. The Dutton's have been farming in Sonoma County for five generations. Today, Dutton Ranch farms 1150 acres of grapes and 150 acres of apples, all within the Green Valley-Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast appellations. Tracy and Joe were inspired to produce wine in 1995 to carry on family traditions in which their three daughters could grow. Joe along with his brother manages the vineyards at Dutton Ranch while Tracy spends her time managing the winery. The passion at Dutton Estate Winery is to produce unparalleled vineyard designated pinot noir, chardonnay and syrah. Creatively working together with winemaker Mat Gustafson, the commitment is to express the terrior from the selected estate family vineyards at Dutton Ranch. With a devoted grape grower and a loyal winemaker, the results are unsurpassed and individually expressed in Dutton Estate Wines.
